On 22 Sep 2009 Dovado released the v4.0.2 firmware update for the Dovado UMR. Users can download this update from http://www.dovado.com/umrfirmware. Here is what Dovado say about this firmware update:
We have corrected an issue which was pointed out to us by a few of
you out there. The issue was that the UMR might lock itself up (“crash”)
during operation.NOTICE : We strongly recommend you to upgrade to this release!
In releasing this firmware, we have removed versions 4.0 and 4.0.1 off the
web and have incorporated the release notes into this version, thus giving
you a better total overview of our 4.x progress thus far.Aside from that, we have confirmed support for Sprint’s Sierra Wireless
Compass 597.For those of you with a Huawei 21Mbps modem, we have added support for the
E182e model in this release as well, however, what you should bear in mind
is that the Huawei 21Mbps modems do not output more than 2.5-3Mbps on the
downlink (though uplink is very healthy!).
